Are the animated flag GIFs really free?
Yes. All animated flag GIFs are free for personal and commercial use, no signup required. See the license page for full details.
Can I use the CDN in production?
Yes. The CDN at cdn.flaggifs.org is free to use with no rate limits or authentication required. Just use the URL directly in your <img> tag or CSS. See the CDN docs for the URL pattern.
What countries are supported?
Flag GIFs covers 195 countries — all UN member states plus widely recognized territories such as Taiwan, Kosovo, and Palestine. Every country is available in all 34 animation styles.
Can I request a new animation style or country?

Do I need to credit Flag GIFs?
No attribution is required, but we appreciate a link back to flaggifs.org if possible. It helps others find the resource.
